Welcome to the Rock the Block Society website (the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please don’t use the Site.
1) Who we are
Rock the Block Society (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a community-powered nonprofit based in British Columbia, Canada. Our Site shares information about our mission, events, volunteer opportunities, partnerships, and ways to support our work.

Donation receipts: If tax receipts are offered, they will be issued only when and if Rock the Block Society is eligible to issue them and the donation meets applicable requirements.
4) Refunds and cancellations
Refunds (if applicable) are governed by our Refund Policy page. Where an event is cancelled or changed, we’ll make reasonable efforts to update the Site and communicate with registered participants using the contact information provided.
5) Volunteer participation (events + activities)
Volunteering is optional and at your own choice. For volunteer activities, you agree to:

follow any safety instructions and event guidelines provided

act respectfully toward attendees, staff, artists, and community partners

disclose any relevant limitations that could affect safe participation (where appropriate)
Rock the Block Society may decline or end volunteer participation for safety, conduct, or operational reasons.
6) Event information
Event dates, times, locations, performers, and program details may change. We do our best to keep information current, but we can’t guarantee everything is always up to date. Always check the latest event details before attending.
7) Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site content (text, logos, graphics, photos, videos, and design) is owned by Rock the Block Society or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws.
